We are building a team of parents who want to be a part of the solution and are willing to challenge the status quo. We have seen the system fail us and so many of our friends and family members, and we have to use the disruption this pandemic has caused to build back better.
Milly Rivera, Co-Founder
Parent/Activist, Central Falls – An active parent advocate with experience organizing parents for action in schools. A former educator in Puerto Rico.
Rob Capellan, Co-Founder
Parent/Activist, Providence – A former successful event promoter with a passion for entrepreneurship and connecting people to resources.
Maria Pedraza
Parent, Central Falls – An active parent leader with a passion for offering families access to opportunities. Experience working in traditional school districts and charter schools.
Wendy Barrios
Parent, Cranston – A former caseworker with experience providing social services and support to adults with needs. An active mom with a passion for seeing children succeed in school and involved in extra-curricular activities.
Alexandra Batista
Parent, Providence – A dedicated and active community leader in the City of Providence committed to supporting leaders and organizations to succeed. A dynamic political strategist with experience in fundraising and event organizing.
